Christos导师是斯坦福大学终身教授,兼任荣誉教授、斯坦福癌症研究所成员。荣获国际泌尿外科杰出贡献奖,NIH 首席研究员,美国国立卫生研究院首席研究员等称号。导师主要探究生物医学工程方法在盆底功能的静态和动态特性的临床可视化和表征中的应用,可延伸到超声成像和图像处理、计算机模型的构建和盆底功能的生物力学分析。在NEUROUROLOGY AND URODYNAMICS等知名学术期刊发表论文超过154篇。
Christos is an associate professor of urology at Stanford University, an emeritus professor, and a member of the Stanford Cancer Institute. He won the International Urology Outstanding Contribution Award, NIH Principal Investigator, NIH Principal Investigator and other titles. He explores the application of biomedical engineering methods in the clinical visualization and characterization of static and dynamic characteristics of pelvic floor function, which can be extended to ultrasound imaging and image processing, construction of computer models, and biomechanical analysis of pelvic floor function. He has published more than 154 papers in well-known academic journals such as NEUROUROLOGY AND URODYNAMICS.

本课程将带领学生探讨不同生物传感器的原理,技术特点及应用,并着重讨论触觉传感器。这些知识将引导学生思考机器人的工业设计以及医疗应用。人体是天然的传感器——觉知系统可以识别物质、编码并通过神经传输给大脑从而做出各种反应动作。那么如何让机器人也产生触觉从而更精确地抓取?能否有一种像皮肤灵敏的系统检测,可以识别物质信号并转化成数据?触觉系统是否可视化?本课程将站在科技前沿启发你的灵感,并在项目结束时提交项目报告,进行成果展示。

This course will lead students to explore the principles, technical features, and applications of different biosensors. Also, we will lead students to think about the industrial design of robots as well as potential medical applications. The human body is a natural sensor -- a sensory system that recognizes substances, encodes them, and sends them through the nerves to the brain to react. So how do you get the robot to have a sense of touch so it can grasp more accurately? Could there be a skin-sensitive system that could identify material signals and turn them into data? Is the haptic system visualized? This course will inspire you on the cutting edge of technology.
Suggested Future Research Fields: Research on surface materials of medical ultrasound probes, Wearable pulse/blood glucose monitoring device, Application of flexible materials in OLED display, Improvement and optimization of grasping ability of intelligent robotic hand, Efficiency improvement of the commercial robotic arm.
